TECLA manages, on behalf of UPI, the technical activities of the Arco Latino Association, which collects the local NUTS III level collectives of Portugal, Spain, France and Italy (2003-2004);
The “QUEIC project – Europe’s Quality Offices International Cooperation”, financed by FORMEZ, for the identification of strategies ad actions put in place by local authorities with regard to community policies, with particular reference to the planning and innovation capacity of Europe’s Offices (2003);
TECLA is the actuator of the “M.I.S.T. project – a Masters in Marketing for Local Development and Innovation”, financed by the European Social Fund through the Ministry of Education, University and Research, for the training of specialists in the identification of local development opportunities, through the satisfaction of the internal and external needs of the area of reference (2002-2003);
Transnational cooperation and partnership project “Routes on the Net”, financed by the Eumedis initiative within the framework of the MEDA Programme, for the cooperation between archaeological areas of the Mediterranean interested by the ancient trade routes, with the organization of integrated, tourist-cultural itineraries (2002);
Transnational cooperation and partnership project “The Participation of Local Operators in Community Policies within the Framework of the White Paper on European Governance”, financed by the Provinces of Milan and Pisa, for the drafting of a document providing orientation and indications towards strengthening the “local” role in the rising stage of community policies (2002);
Project “The Road: the social-work rehabilitation of women victims of human trafficking”, financed within the framework of the EQUAL community initiative to combat social barriers in the social and work reintegration of the victims of sexual exploitation (2002);
“Agevol” Project, financed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies through the EQUAL community initiative, to test innovative actions aimed at facilitating the integration of disadvantaged persons in the world of work (2002);
”Digital Enterprises Project: chance for business, challenge for law”, financed within the framework of the “Go Digital Awareness Campaign 2002” of the Enterprise DG of the European Commission, for the creation of a new economy “salon” aimed at the qualified training of SMEs operating mainly in the Province of Salerno (2002);
Technical assistance activity within the Transnational cooperation and partnership project « ONE – Oleum Nostrum », financed by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the ECOS-Ouverture Programme, for the creation of a promotional itinerary though the areas of production of extra virgin olive oil and the culture of this typical product which is part of the identity of Mediterranean peoples (1999-2002);
TECLA has implemented the measures aimed at introducing SMEs in the international market, in accordance with DOCUP Objective 2 1994-1999 (Measures 2.6 and 2.4) of Regione Lazio, through a set of actions involving 10 European markets (EDRF project);
TECLA has impleemnte the projects “Tutela e valorizzazione dei centri storici della Sardegna – Network delle Isole” and “Iniziative locali per lo sviluppo e l’occupazione” (“Protection and revaluation of old city centres in Sardinia –Islands network” and “local initiatives for employment and development”, in the framework of the Action Program 1999 – 2000 of Regione Autonoma della Sardegna for co-operation initiatives between local and regional authorities;
Planning activity and technical assistance for Consorzio Parchi Scientifico-Tecnologici aimed at setting up a High-level training centre (polo per l’Alta Formazione) in Rieti, on the basis of the guidelines of measure 4.3 of DOCUP Objective 2 Lazio 1994-1999);
Europea Project“200 years of artistic migrations in Europe. Great migrations and artists between XIX and XX century” (1999). Through the participation of Regione Lazio, Regione Provence and some European important Universities this project aims to organise a Meeting and an Exhibition to foster a deeper knowledge of the European culture as a result from migration streams and artistic trends in the XIX - XX century Europe.

Planning and setting-up of an international Office “URP Europa” offering partnership-based services for the municipality of Rieti (1999);
Planning activity and technical assistance for A.P.I. Toscana and the Province of Pisa for the management of SME international co-operation (Eurolegno 2000), in order to exchange know-how and commercial opportunities (Programma Interprise 1999);
International promotional action for the food-industry products of Provincia di Rieti, aimed at setting up buyer schemes for truffles producers (Brussels, December 1998);
Co-ordination and assistance action for Regione Autonoma della Sardegna (RAS) for the organization of the conference “Città storiche e sviluppo territoriale nelle regioni insulari URB-AL: un’azione europea di coperazione per lo sviluppo delle comunità locali” (“Old towns and territorial development in insular regions URBAL an European co-operation action for the development of local communities”, La Habana, Cuba, November 1998),. within the framework of the 1998 Habana Conference, in collaboration with Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, the authorities of Cuba Repubblic, the European Union (DG 1), the Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Minister for Foreign Trade;
Organization of a 3-months training period for young graduates from Scuola Superiore S. Anna di Pisa, at the Brussels’ Atelier des Territoires – TECLA (1998);
Set up of a transregional Contact Point in Brussels (“Brussels Atelier dei Territori”, November 1997) to promote development and relationships between the associated regions. The project, promoted, through TECLA, by the provincial administrations of Cagliari, Pisa, Rieti and by the Municipality of Rieti, concerns the development of co-operation actions and projects between European and Third country regions, through a working scheme. It is a sort of laboratory centred on the exchange of experience and specific know-how, as well as on the cross-study of professional skills, in order to strengthen and increase cultural, economic and social identity, in each area;
Technical assistance and Cooperation Project with Moldovia, financed on the grounds of Law 212 of (1997), for the creation of a service centre of SME vocational training ;
Action for the promotion Art Crafts of Regione Lazio (Adelaide, 1997) involving 25 enterprises;
Organization and patronage of the exhibition “Giardini scomparsi”, (“Disappeared gardens”) with the support of the Los Angeles Institute of Italian culture; the event has been repeated in London (1996) and Rome (1997);
Training initiative involving 32 officers of the Municipality of Rieti on access and use of EC financing schemes, with a view to Structural Funds, preliminary actions to promote an international framework for the economy and SMEs of the Municipality of Rieti(1997);
Planning action and technical assistance for the management of the implementation of Pilot project ERDF Art.10 (“New employment opportunities”, October 1996) on behalf of the Province of Pisa, concerning the creation of 3 kindergartens according to family need.
“Espace Bleu” Project, promoting a network for the internationalisation of SME and Craft enterprises(1996);
Project for the promotion of Art Crafts of Regione Lazio (Los Angeles, December 1995 – January 1996) involving some leading companies in marble, wood, silver, terracotta and textile fields, which TECLA developed in Los Angeles. This project included the publication of the catalogue “L’artigianato artistico del Lazio- la creatività delle regioni d’Europa” (“Artistic crafts in Lazio – creativity in Europe”) on this promotional initiative (5000 copies);
Participation as a partner for public control to the Regional Urban Energy Planning Programme DG XVII, together with another promoter: the municipality of Giannitsa (Macedonia – Grecia) (1995);
Participation to the ALTENER Programme on “Third Financing Partners” within renewable energy sources (under the supervision of the Greek partners) co-financed by Commission’s DG XVII (1995);
Technical assistance activity for the implementation of protocol of agreement between Regione Lazio and Voivodato of Varsavia, aimed at developing collaboration under all possible respects, in order to allow an exchange of experiences and analyse the specific problems and tasks of the partners organisations/structures (1995);
“Fiuggi” pilot project (Berlin, July 1995) and other promotional and marketing initiatives aimed at introducing Fiuggi in the international market, (Berlin in this case). It was the first practical application of the marketing of territories promoted by TECLA (“Espace Bleu” network).
