The Network

The network gathered around TECLA consists of all members, but also includes relationships built up during the course of time through activities carried out and projects realised on national and international level.
The interchange between members and external subjects participating in the projects promoted by TECLA represents nowadays the significant relational patrimonium of the Association, by means of which it is possible to activate virtuous pathways and synergies of local development as well as the transfer of best practices and know how, inside and outside the network.
Some experiences are very significant:

· The international network of Contact Points consists of a network of subjects and physical structures based in Central and Eastern Europe and in Mediterranean wishing to encourage the internationalisation of productive systems. Such a network originates from international agreements that have given life to structures aimed at establishing a wide range of contacts and trade exchanges.

· TECLA has paid special attention to artistic and cultural aspects. This attention has led to the development of numerous activities and projects and has generated a solid partnership, that is nowadays put into practice in an artistic-cultural network with an international character, European and Mediterranean, able to enhance cultures and identities and to bring together people and traditions.

· The European interest for Eastern countries, the adaptation process and the implementation of the cohesion principle, have stimulated TECLA to establish a co-operation network between EU regions and pre-accession countries. Such a network, by allowing the transfer of know how and good practices, stimulates the innovation of the co-operation models that can be used by the territories.

· The improvement of local capacities, in a context orientated towards globalisation, requires the identification of typical elements able to provide clear identities. The choice to focus on the Mediterranean area, by building up a Euro-Mediterranean network, enables TECLA to promote a relationships system able to give a global voice to the local system and a larger perspective to the exploitation of Mediterranean typicalities
ONE, MEDITINERA, CONTACT POINT, OPEN, EUROMED, THE ATELIER of the TERRITORIES, SUDEST CAFE', RCSM, ESPA and MO.DI are the lexicon of a development strategy based on the promotion and management of international co-operation networks. About eighty local partners, co-operating actively for several years in the fields of internationalisation of the SMEs, cultural tourism, improvement of niche products and development partnerships in the Mediterranean area, constitute a solid tissue of experiences that have allowed territories to get to know each other, exchange their savoir-faire and work together, starting from the basis, for the construction of the European architecture.
